Police Blotter: Possession of Marijuana and Stolen Goods
Police activity in Three Village.
Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct reported these arrests in Three Village during from Oct. 24 to 30:
Derrick Dixon, 35, of Centereach, was arrested on Hawkins Road in Setauket Oct. 27 and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Reports state Dixon was operating his 1991 Acura Legend when he was pulled over for alleged speeding. The officer then observed marijuana inside the vehicle.
Helen Esposito, 41, of Coram, was arrested in Setauket Oct. 24 and charged with petit larceny. Reports state Esposito allegedly gathered items in a cart at Waldbaums on Route 347 in Setauket and left the store.

None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed above. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
