Crime Report: Week For Home Depot and Walmart Shoplifting

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct reported these arrests in Three Village during May 30-June 7.

Daniel Skiff, 45, of Farmingville was arrested June 7 in South Setauket and charged with two counts of petty larceny, and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Reports indicate Skiff was arrested for the alleged possession of Oxycodone and cocaine, and for allegedly stealing merchandise from The Home Depot located in Selden, and Walmart located in South Setauket. These incidents occurred over an unknown time period. He was arrested on Arrowhead Lane in South Setauket.      

Shakeen Legette, 24, of Central Islip was arrested June 7 in South Setauket and charged with two counts of petty larceny, and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Reports indicate Legette was arrested for the alleged possession of Oxycodone and cocaine. They also indicate he allegedly stole merchandise from The Home Depot located in Selden, and Walmart located in South Setauket. He was arrested at 3990 Nesconset Highway in South Setauket.

Edward Lindhorn, 24, of Mount Sinai was arrested June 7 in Setauket and charged with petty larceny. Reports indicate Lindhorn allegedly stole merchandise from the Walmart located in South Setauket.    

Daniel Brown, 38, of Stony Brook was arrested June 5 in Stony Brook and charged with third degree falsely reporting an incident. Reports indicate Brown was arrested for falsely reporting his license plate was stolen.
