Crime Report: Police Make Arrests for DWI and Road Rage
One instance of driving while intoxicated led to the arrest of a seventeen-year-old male.
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
The Suffolk County Police Department's Sixth Precinct reported these arrests in Three Village between June 28–July 6.
A seventeen-year-old male from Setauket was arrested July 6 in Setauket and charged with petit larceny. Reports state he was arrested for the alleged theft of spray paint from Walmart in South Setauket.

A seventeen-year-old male from Port Jefferson was arrested July 4 in Stony Brook and charged with operating a vehicle after consuming alcohol. Reports state he drove a vehicle northbound on Nicolls Rd. after allegedly consuming alcohol.
Collyn Duffy, 51, of Stony Brook, was arrested July 3 in Smithtown and charged with first offense DWI. Reports state Duffy was arrested for allegedly operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Reports state she crashed her vehicle, and attempted to leave the scene on Route 25 in Commack.

David Schneider, 29, of Stony Brook was arrested June 21 in Selden and charged with reckless endangerment and second degree menacing. Reports indicate on June 8, Schneider allegedly brandished a steering wheel lock at someone, and on June 21, he allegedly drove rapidly and applied the brakes in front of another vehicle. This incident occurred at 10:10 a.m. on S. Coleman Rd. in Selden.
