Stony Brook Road, which was subject to some closures over the past few weeks, is repaved and ready for the start of the fall semester.
The work took place between the Stony Brook University entrance and Rt. 25A and was part of a project to resurface the road.
“We were gratified to learn that the town considered this job a priority for the community, and that our students and employees can drive their cars and ride their bicycles along the smooth new surface that leads to one of our entries onto Main Campus and to our Research and Development Park, said Stony Brook University President, Samuel L. Stanley, Jr.
