Everyone knows that Stony Brook University has a football team, basketball teams, baseball ect, but, what many people do not know is that they have a Hockey team. While there is no ice rink on campus, the team plays home games at the Rink in Hauppauge. The Sewolves will open their season September 28th at 8:30pm against Buffallo. The Seawolves had a successful season last year as Champions of the Eastern States Collegiate Hockey League (ESCHL) Playoffs. Last Season their overall record was 16-12-3, which allowed them to be ranked number fifteen in the Nation for the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) According to the team's website. The Seawolves Ice Hockey team will have a second match will Buffalo Sunday September 29th at noon.
I am very excited to see the boys back in the ice! If last years' season is any indication of what is to come for this team, then they 2013-14 is will be one for the record books!
