'White Out' Planned for Ward Melville Football Game
Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Half Hollow Hills East.
The school colors may be green and gold, but coaches and parents of Ward Melville varsity football players are asking that anyone planning on coming to the Friday night away game should wear white instead.
That's because team moms and coaches got word of a planned "Black Out" at Half Hollow Hills East, in which all those fans will be wearing black.
Game time is set for 7 p.m. under the lights at Half Hollow Hills East High School. The Patriots won their first game 41-13 last weekend at Brentwood, while Hills East won its game against Central Islip 38-14.
