SBU Baseball to Play Game at Citi Field

Seawolves will face St. John's University next Tuesday.

The Stony Brook baseball team's first appearance at Citi Field came during June of 2012, after they beat six-time national champions LSU in the NCAA Super Regionals and made their first-ever appearance at the College World Series. Head coach Matt Senk and several players threw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Now, the Seawolves will suit up for an actual game at Citi Field: they will play St. John's University in a college baseball doubleheader next Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Tickets are $10 (parking is $5) and also includes admission to the other game in the doubleheader, featuring Michigan versus Yale. Tickets are available over the phone by calling 631-632-WOLF and through the Stony Brook Athletics ticket office.
