Former Back-Up QB for Syracuse Joins Seawolves

John Kinder, who went to Syracuse University as a back-up quarterback is heading back home to Long Island to play for the Seawolves.

Kinder, a junior is from Long Island's Inwood. The quarterback turned wide receiver turned down offers from UConn, Rutgers and Temple to play for Syracuse.

According to Syracuse.com, Kinder was the 2009 New York State Class A Player. During his time at Lawrence high school, Kinder passed for more than 3,000 yards and 22 touchdowns and rushed for more than 2,000 yards and 88 touchdowns.
