Ward Melville HS Graduates New and Old Join Forces to Fundraise School Musical

It was like a scene out of Glee: graduates – new and old – of Ward Melville High School, took to the stage to help raise money for next year’s school musical.

The fourth annual Senior Alumni Summer Recall Show featured a cast of members from the Class of 2007 through the Class of 2014, performing songs they had originally debuted while students.

Songs like “Magic to Do,” “Till There Was You,” “The Last Midnight,” and “All I Ask of You,” were performed, accompanied by a pit orchestra. Coordinated by vocal teacher and musical director Linda Contino, this year’s show was dedicated to Michael Owen, an assistant principal and Ward musical-enthusiast, who will retire in June after 24 years of service in the district.
