Voter's Guide: Three Village School Budget, Board Election

What you need to know for Tuesday's vote.

Three Village residents will vote on the school district’s $188.1 million proposed budget for the 2014-15 school year on Tuesday.

The proposal calls for a 1.91 percent increase in spending over the current year and carries a 1.27 percent tax levy increase, which is within the state's tax cap. If approved, the average homeowner in the district would pay about an additional $130 in school taxes next year.

There are no contested school board elections this year. Incumbents Inger Germano, Irene Gische and Jeffrey Kerman are all running unopposed.

Polls are open Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at all of the district's elementary schools. For more information on the budget and to determine which polling location you should go to, visit the district's website here
