Three Village Swimmer to Coach at St. Joseph's College
Kim Scalzo comes from Islander Aquatics, a Suffolk County-based competitive swim club.
Three Village Swim Club alum Kim Scalzo will be the next swim team coach at St. Joseph's College in Patchogue, the school announced Wednesday.
Scalzo was with the swim club for eight years, qualifying for the Junior Olympics as well as the Empire State Games during her tenure there. Prior to that she was a varsity swimmer at Ward Melville High School in Setauket.
According to the college, Scalzo has taught swimming in some form since 1999, when she was 14 years old.

Scalzo , who lives in Centereach, also works at Islander Aquatics, a Suffolk County-based competitive swim club. She has coached for the Three Village, North Shore and Sachem Swim Clubs.
