1. J. Crew – Smithaven Mall – 15 percent off regular priced items (excludes sale items) with valid student ID.

2. Station Pizza – Stony Brook – $2 discount on pick-up orders between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m on Mondays and Wednesdays only.

3. Apple – Smithaven Mall – $100 off MacBook Pro and iMac or $50 off MacBook Air. Both offers come with a $100 Mac App Store Gift Card and a free printer after mail-in rebate.

4. AMC Loew’s Movie Theater – Stony Brook – Thursday is 'Student Day,' meaning $8 all day Thursday. Ages 13 and over with valid school ID. Full Price is $9 Matinee and $11 after 4 p.m.

5. Beach Bum Tanning & Airbrush Salon – Stony Brook – Printable coupons for students with valid ID can be found on their site under student specials.  

6. Pier 1 Imports – Lake Grove – 15 percent off with valid ID.

8. McDonald’s – Stony Brook – 10 percent off to Stony Brook students with valid ID.

15. Another suggestion for saving is downloading the Foursquare app on your smartphone. Most of the app's "Check-in's" include special offers to help you save at even more stores and restaurants in the area.
