Court Dismisses Patchogue Plaintiffs' Lawsuit Against Tritec

Decision clears the way for East Setauket-based developer to break ground in Patchogue's New Village project.

East Setauket-based developer Tritec got the green light to break ground on Patchogue's New Village project after New York State judge Paul Baisley dismissed a lawsuit against Tritec that alleged numerous problems with the site plan, Patchogue Patch reported Friday.

Patchogue Village Mayor Paul Pontieri told Patch Thursday morning that discussions with Tritec Real Estate Company have resumed, and that plans for scheduling the demolition will be made over the next several days.

Tritec's was in April 2011 for 291 apartments, 46,000 square feet of retail space and 18,000 square feet of office space to be built at the Four Corners intersection in Patchogue Village.
