UPDATED: Missing East Setauket Woman Located

Woman was reported missing Saturday evening.

A police spokesman on Sunday said Joyce Anderson, whose husband reported her missing around 9 p.m. Saturday night, has been located.

According to police, she was found prior to 7:30 a.m. by her husband "in close proximity to her home."

Anderson, who suffers from dementia, was uninjured.

The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a silver alert seeking help finding Joyce Anderson, an East Setauket woman who suffers from dementia.

Police said Anderson, 66, was last seen at 9 p.m. Saturday night walking northbound on Van Brunt Manor Road.

Police described Anderson, of 7 Wells Lane, East Setauket, as a Caucasian woman with blue eyes and long brown hair who wears glasses. She is 5-foot-8 and weighs about 100 pounds, and was last seen wearing black leggings and white sneakers.
