Police Search for Suspect who Fled on Foot
K-9 unit called to assist overnight search in East Setauket.
Police are searching for a suspect who fled on foot through a field in East Setauket shortly before 1:00 a.m. today, according to a report.
Police had the suspect pulled over near the intersection of Old Town Road and Gnarled Hollow Road before the individual abandoned the car and fled. A K-9 unit was called in to assist.
A police spokesman said the incident is related to an ongoing investigation for which no further information is available.
