A 91-year-old woman suffered minor injuries in an accident Tuesday in which her car flipped onto its driver's side after striking another vehicle in East Setauket.
According to police, the two-car crash on Upper Sheep Pasture Road took place at approximately 3:00 p.m. Responders had to rescue the woman through the passenger side door.
The woman was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment. A police spokesman said there were no other injuries and no charges filed as of now.
