Crimes Nearby: Pair Allegedly Robs Lawrence Aviation Warehouse

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

PORT JEFFERSON

A pair of alleged burglars came from Patchogue to rob an abandoned warehouse at the Lawrence Aviation site at 100 Sheep Pasture Road in Port Jefferson, according to police reports. William Rucker, 20, and Paul Clinton Jr., 20, both of Patchogue, were arrested on July 3 when they were found by police on Catherine Street and Washington Avenue in Port Jefferson Station and charged with 3rd degree burglary. Police say that the two men took property from the building but they did not say what it was.

Mary Morales, 31, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested in Selden on July 2 at about 4:20 p.m. for an earlier incident. She was charged with menacing. On June 16 Morales allegedly held a baseball bat over another person’s head and made harassing statements.

Luis Armandosantosmorales, 29, of Centereach, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on July 6 at about 10:42 a.m. and charged with menacing. At about 10:15 a.m., Armandosantosmorales allegedly chased another person with a large knife at a business on Route 347.

Robert Trocchio, 49, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested on July 6. Trocchio is a convicted sex offender required to register with the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS). He was charged with failure to notify DCJS that his address had been changed. According to the DCJS website, Trocchio is listed as homeless. He was convicted in 1982 of sodomy.

Benedetto Gambino, 35, of St. James, was arrested and charged with first offense DWI on July 7. Gambino was found driving north on Edgewood Avenue over the speed limit and without his headlights on. He was arrested on Landing Avenue.

Colleen Leary, 21, of Commack, was arrested July 5 in Smithtown on charges of first offense DWI. Leary was involved in a car accident where she struck another vehicle going westbound on route 25.

Thomas Ellis, 33, of Hauppauge, was arrested July 3 in Smithtown and charged with operating a vehicle impaired by drugs. Ellis was driving on Brooksight Drive and crashed allegedly due to the influence of drugs.

Vincent Bogdanowich, 30, of East Islip, was arrested July 3 in Smithtown on charges of grand larceny. Bogdanowich was found on 6th Avenue with stolen jewlery.

MILLER PLACE-ROCKY POINT

Anthony Miccio, 31, of Sound Beach, was arrested July 4 in Rocky Point and charged with two counts of seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second degree criminal contempt and third degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. According to Police, Miccio was arrested at Route 25a and Broadway for possession of heroin and cocaine, violating a Family Court order that prohibited him from possessing any illegal drugs and for driving while knowing that his license was revoked or suspended.

Lauryn Miccio, 30, of Sound Beach, was arrested July 4 in Rocky Point and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second degree criminal contempt. Police said Miccio was arrested along with Anthony Miccio and was in possession of heroin. She also violated a Family Court order.
