Crimes Nearby: Homeless Man Charged with Islandia Bank Robbery
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
HAUPPAUGE
Suffolk County Police arrested a homeless man, Rameek Brown, 31, on Dec. 30 on charges of third-degree robbery. Police allege Brown robbed an Empire National Bank branch in Islandia by entering at 3:20 p.m. and handing a note to the teller claiming he had a gun. Police did not disclose how much money he took.
Edward Primavera III, 21, and Glen Fitzgerald, 23, both of Lake Grove, were arrested Dec. 24 in Nesconset and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. They are accused of possessing prescription pills and marijuana in the 2003 Mercedes-Benz they were in on Smithtown Boulevard. Primavera, the driver of the car, was also charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon for allegedly having a bat and metal knuckles in the car.

Tom Lam, 39, of Flushing, the co-owner of at 5032 Jericho Tpke., Commack, and 7967 Jericho Tpke., Woodbury, was arrested Dec. 27 and charged with first degree sexual abuse. Lam allegedly perpetrated forcible sexual contact on a 24-year-old female employee in an office at the Woodbury restaurant location, police said.
PORT JEFFERSON

Christopher Molina, 40, of Port Jefferson, was arrested Dec. 22 and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing. The charge came from a Dec. 14 incident near when he allegedly grabbed a female victim by the throat.
Heather Clark, 27, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested Dec. 24 and charged with six counts of second degree forgery. She allegedly stole checks and then fraudulently wrote them out.
MILLER PLACE-ROCKY POINT
Michael Dirago, 21, of Rocky Point, was arrested Dec. 22 at about 4:53 p.m. and charged with fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property: value greater than $1,000 and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was found on Lavender Road reportedly in possession of two stolen iPads and the drug.
Jonathan Kelly, 22, of Rocky Point, was arrested Dec. 22 at about 4:53 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct: obstructing traffic. He allegedly stood in the middle of Lavender Road obstructing traffic, and refused police requests to move.
