Crime Report: Middle Island Man Charged in Setauket Burglary
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Carlos Rivera, 38, of Middle Island, was arrested April 9 in Setauket and charged with second-degree burglary, a felony. Police said Rivera stole tools from a home on Tudor Drive in Setauket at 4:30 a.m.
Brett Kramer, 20, of Setauket, was arrested April 9 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Police said he had heroin in his possession while seated in the driver's seat of a vehicle at University Drive and School Street.
A property owner on Dyke Road in East Setauket reported an incident of criminal mischief in which a window and a screen were damaged sometime between Jan. 16 and March 10.

The owner of a car parked in a parking lot on Detmer Road in Setauket reported April 9 that someone broke into the vehicle, a 2001 Jeep, and stole a computer, a debit card and glasses between 4:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
A resident of a private road in Setauket reported April 5 that the front passenger side window of a 2010 Toyota Camry was damaged between sometime between midnight and 10 a.m.
