Crime Report: Alleged Utility Thief Arrested
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Roy Longworth, 58, of East Setauket, was arrested Sept. 14 in Hauppauge and charged with second-degree grand larceny and intent to illegally use utility services. Police said Longworth allegedly stole utility services via an unauthorized splice between February 2006 and January of 2012.
A 17-year-old boy from Port Jefferson Station was arrested Sept. 14 at 1:35 p.m. at West Meadow Beach and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said the teen possessed prescription pills.
David Berry, 33, of Setauket, was arrested Sept. 8 in Setauket and charged with first-offense DWI. Police said Berry was involved in a crash on northbound Caroline Ave. at approximately 2:25 a.m. Police reports did not indicate whether there were any injuries.

Hill Nguyen, 39, of Centereach, was arrested Sept. 7 and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Police said Nguyen stole a 2000 Honda Civic.
