Cellphones Reported Stolen at West Meadow Beach
Thieves took three phones from unattended bags.
Cellphones belonging to three teenagers were reported stolen at West Meadow Beach on Wednesday, Suffolk police said.
Two girls, both 14, and one boy, 13, said their phones were stolen from bags that were left unattended. At least one of the victims was swimming at the time the theft occurred.
The incident occurred at approximately 6 p.m. and is still under investigation.
