Car Overturns, Strikes Utility Pole in Stony Brook

No arrests or injuries reported in one-car accident.

A vehicle overturned and struck a utility pole at 12:40 a.m. on Friday morning. The incident occurred on Route 25A between Ashleigh Drive and Wellington Drive in Stony Brook. All lanes were temporarily shut down.

According to Suffolk County Police, no injuries were reported as a result of the accident, which resulted in downed wires. Police also indicated that alcohol was not a factor in the accident, and no arrests were made.
