- A resident on Lamont La. in Stony Brook reported to Suffolk County police that two iPads were stolen from the home on Oct. 17. According to the report two window screens were removed from the home.
- A Tallmadge Gate home in Setauket was reported as burglarized on Oct. 17. According to police, the home was entered through the rear sliding doors between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. Jewelry and an iPad were reported missing.

A burglary was reported on Oct. 15 at a home on Game La. in East Setauket. According to police the home was entered through a rear bedroom window between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The resident reported that jewelry was taken. An attempted break-in was reported earlier this month at nearby Cabin La.
