Photoblog: Three Village's West Meadow Beach
Excellent wind conditions helped jump-start the Fourth of July weekend on Thursday for these windsurfers and beachcombers.
After several months of invitations from the editors at Patch to do a photoblog, I'm finally taking the plunge. This is all new to me – the blogging. The photography goes way back.
I may be a bit biased, but on Long Island you can never have too much summer, especially after last winter! Some of my favorite photos are beach photos. Every day there is always something new to look at: the lighting, the tides, the birds. You can mark time by the flowers and foliage on nearby Trustees Road.
It is always great to get feedback. Everyone likes different pictures for different reasons but the nicest comments that I heard were, "It really cheered me up!"
