Three Villager Wraps Up $30M Museum Fundraising Campaign
Glen Whitney, a former trustee on the Three Village Board of Education, is heading up New York City's Museum of Mathematics.
Glen Whitney, a former hedge fund analyst with Renaissance Technologies who also previously served on the Three Village Board of Education, has completed a $30 million fundraising campaign for the Museum of Mathematics, according to a report published in Smithsonian Magazine.
Whitney has called the Museum of Mathematics, the first of its kind, "a safe place to love math," saying that the beauty of patterns, numbers, and shapes is often overlooked.
The Museum is set to open later this year.
