Gallery North is pleased to present the work of Christian White. This show will include paintings and drawings, some of which illustrate a process that finds abstract qualities in subjective motifs and attempts to unify some modernist and minimalist ideas with the artist's general bent towards formal realism. On Sunday, November 11 from 3-5pm Christian will be giving an ArTalk and demonstration on color composition at Gallery North.  The purpose will be to help people use color in a way that is purposeful and communicative, and to promote an understanding of how color functions in contemporary painting. There will be a demonstration involving decision-making and color mixing. This event is FREE to the public and seating is limited.  RSVP by calling the gallery.
