Co-Ed Roller Derby Fundraiser to benefit Lenny Crawford!

January 18th, Strong Island Derby Revolution will skate outside their comfort zone to kick it old school with the men and women of Man's Ruin Roller Derby of Chester, NY in a CoEd exhibition bout to benefit Lenny Crawford of Smithtown.

The Crawford's have been living in Smithtown for 21 years with their 2 children.  Mr. Crawford, a retired police officer has been diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Lenny has always been involved with fundraising as an active officer and now he can use OUR help. The costs to families providing for a family member with ALS can be upwards of $125,000 to 150,000 a year.

SIDR will be contributing 100% of profits from this bout to the Crawford family.  Please join SIDR and Man's Ruin for a great time for a great cause! Raffles, auction and halftime entertainment as well as hard-hitting, fast paced roller derby action!

Doors open at 7pm and first whistle blows at 8.  Advance tickets are $10 and are available at www.helplenny.bpt.me. $15 door and kids under 8 are free!
