Weekend Guide: The Rat Pack, a Murder Mystery, a Celebration of Color

No doubt many of you suffered from cabin fever during the blizzard last weekend, but this weekend you've got plenty of options for fun and entertainment. Don't forget, if you or your organization are planning an event, you can list it for free in our events calendar.

Entertainment

  • The annual Ward Melville Players Murder Mystery Dinner is set for Friday at 6 p.m. ($25).
  • If you're a fan of The Rat Pack, check out this dinner and dancing party at the WMHO's Educational & Cultural Center ($75).

Fine Arts & Performance

  • The show "A Celebration of Color" will take place this weekend at Gallery North, recognizing the art, history, and culture of the African Diaspora. Reception on Friday at 5 p.m.
  • Sergei Gurbelo, a classical and jazz saxophonist, will perform at 1 p.m. Saturday at Emma S. Clark Memorial Library.
  • Motionhouse Dance will perform at the Staller Center on Saturday at 8 p.m. ($38).
  • Verdi's opera Rigoletto will be live-screened from The Met at the Staller Center at 1 p.m. on Sunday ($15-$22).
