Wolfie, Stony Brook University's beloved mascot can be seen bounding around campus events as well as throughout the community, is one of 16 college mascots in Orlando this week shooting commercials for ESPN College Gameday.
According to Stony Brook athletic director Jim Fiore, Wolfie is the only representative from a Football Championship Subdivision (formerly Division I-AA) school. The advertisements will air this fall.
Gameday is an Emmy Award-winning program that travels to a different venue each week and constructs a set outside the stadium, with a backdrop of thousands of students from the school.
