Question of the Day: Who do You Think of on Memorial Day?

The freedom enjoyed by Americans has come at a price.

It's Memorial Day, a time when Americans commemorate those who have fought on the country's behalf and gave the ultimate sacrifice.

The parade down Main Street and Route 25A in Setauket is always a well-attended event, with American flags flying and patriotism in full effect. Families assemble and enjoy the freedom that is the fabric of America.

On Memorial Day, all those who died at war are saluted, whether it be those who stormed the beaches of Normandy or fought during recent wars in Afghanistan or Iraq. Specifically, what or who do you think of on this holiday? Leave your comments below.
