PHOTO: Celebrating Horse Show Winner at Old Field Farm

Alexis M. Weitzner, a Huntington High School senior, along with her horse Pardon My French, was the First Place Blue Ribbon award winner at the Professional Horsemen's Association show on Aug. 19 at Old Field Farm. The competition featured more than 130 horses in various divisions and age groups, with young riders competing for points throughout the season to compete in the finals, to be held later this year in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. According to the farm's management, about 500 people attended the show, which was followed by a lobster and clam bake fundraiser to support at the historic farm.
