Korean BBQ Nets 'Worth It' Review in New York Times

Ssambap is described as a fun, memorable place to eat.

Open about six months now, has made a splash on the Three Village dining scene – and has now garnered a thumbs-up from a New York Times restaurant reviewer.

According to NYT, the wait staff is nice and very willing to help diners navigate the menu; the vegetable-based appetizers are the best; and the marinated meats for the barbeque are better than the non-marinated ones. Among the favorite dishes was the dolsot bibimbap entree, a rice dish with a variety of toppings served in a hot stone bowl. Overall the restaurant got a "worth it" rating.
