June 23: Prom Perfect and an Evening for Erin

Roll out the red carpet – or the pink glitter. Thursday is all about the parties, whether the traditional end-of-year kind for high school seniors or a more serious one to benefit a little girl with an illness.

1. Ward Melville's senior prom is set for 9 p.m. Thursday, with a theme of "One Enchanted Evening." Coming up on Three Village Patch, we'll have a preview of what makes this year's prom different from other years.

2. Speaking of prom, to find the best reader-submitted prom photo. Send in your submissions to christines@patch.com by June 30 for a chance to win a goody bag of prizes.

3. If you're not headed to prom, consider helping a sick child by attending another party: which will benefit a Three Village family's efforts to raise money for medical care.
