July 27: Film Fest Continues, Plus Dinner at the Beach

A school board meeting is also set for Wednesday night.

The Stony Brook Film Festival continues on Wednesday. Plus, you can attend a school board meeting or have dinner on the beach at a local church event. And Wednesday will be chock full of community news coming up later.

1. Wednesday's Stony Brook Film Festival offerings include at 7 p.m., followed by at 9:30 p.m. For a guide to all the remaining films in the festival, .

2. Both of those films are accompanied by short films, including All That Remains at the 9:30 p.m. screening. Why is that significant? This film was made by Cody Blue Snider – the son of local music icon Dee Snider of Twisted Sister fame.
