Grief counselors available until 2 p.m. at the school.

Grief counselors are available for students, family and staff members who may seek counseling until 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Murphy Junior High School following the death of an eighth-grade student at his home last weekend.

Principal Vincent Vizzo said in an email statement to the community that the school "will continue to provide support and assistance to our students, families and school community upon our return from the spring break."

The Three Village Central School District released a Facebook comment by the victim's family, in which they said: "There have been many posts about [this] death being about bullying. We do NOT know this is true. ... Please dont point fingers at anyone or place blame on someone."
