Let us help you find the information you need and share your experiences with others.

Another winter storm is heading our way – though forecasters are saying it won't be as bad as the February blizzard. Still, there are multiple ways you can use Patch during a snow storm.

1. Get the news. When we know about storm-related news, so will you. From important town and village announcements, damages, and power outages, we’ll have all the news covered 24-7. Refresh the homepage often; we move fast.

2. Sign Up for a Newsletter - Now. Make sure you're getting the local news to come to you. We send out weekly, morning, and breaking news updates. Sign up for whatever suits you right here.

3. Comment. Have relevant information to add to an article, jump in and make a comment. We’ll follow up and likely add it to the article. These storm stories will continue to evolve as we speak to more officials and locals. You can be a real-time source by commenting.

4. Connect with the local editor. If you have tips, e-mail editor Christine Sampson at ChristineS@Patch.com. You can also text her at 631-276-1679. Feel free to text photos of what you're seeing out there.

5. Follow us on Twitter. Want the info the fastest way possible? Follow us on Twitter: @3VillagePatch.

6. Like us on Facebook. Patch updates all our articles on our Facebook page. To get up-to-the minute updates, follow us on Patch here

7. Take photos and videos. Stay indoors if you plan to wait out the storm. But any photos you take of the aftermath, we’ll prominently display on Patch. You can upload them to our Pics and Clips section – and ongoing, user-generated gallery of the sights of the area – or upload them directly to articles.

8. Get the Word Out. If power is out (or turned back on) in your neighborhood or if there is a downed tree blocking your street, let your neighbors know by posting an announcement on our announcement board. Click here to post an announcement.

9. Find Emergency Numbers and Shelters. During Hurricanes Irene and Sandy, Patch created extensive lists of evacuation routes, emergency numbers. You can find all you need to know by clicking here.

10. Blog about it. When all settles, scores of your fellow community members will have “I was there” stories to share. Don’t keep them to yourself. Sign up to be a blogger and let your neighbors know how you held up during the storm.

Let us know if there's anything else you think we can do for you. Stay safe and warm during the storm!

So, essentially that first residential home is being written off as the price of doing business.Read More There goes that property value. Other than as a professional residence, who would want to live by a driveway for that traffic? As for the entrance Village Automotive, that will bring even more traffic to an already busy intersection nearby. 25A is impassable/impossible in that area for large chunks of the day now.

The rezoning is for the acres of undeveloped residential land across from Ann Maries Farm stand,Read More extending down to the wooded area on 25A. A one way entrance would be placed by Village Automotive and a one way exit would come out on N. Country Rd. adjacent to the first residential house.

Can you tell us where this property is? An address or street name?

Seriously? We are asked to send in enough supplies per kid each year to supply 5 kids. Where does itRead More all go? It gets lost, thrown out, or ends up back in the students home via backpack. The problem is not the lack of supplies, but a lack of personal responsibility. But if we send in enough supplies each year for ten or fifteen students, then we might be able to avoid the underlying problem.

everyone should research what all the school administrators are raking in and the multple levels ofRead More staff that exists at TVCSD. It is beyond reasonable to have salaries at that level and multiple administrators and assistants and directors and assistant directors and chairman etc. Teachers earn their fair share!

Last year we lost 20 staff...this year we are losing over 50 meanwhile the remaining staff isRead More getting a 6% raise...the UNION is eating itself and ruining our school and the BOE is not dealing with the situation..the benefits are up nearly 13% this year...what do you think will happen next year? Another 60,70,80 to be laid off? My vote is NO!!!!
