Abandoned eBay Store Up For Grabs [Empty in Three Village]

The former I Sold It on eBay store in East Setauket awaits a new tenant.

According to neighboring business owners, the management of I Sold It on eBay left its storefront at 1369 Route 25A in East Setauket a little over a year ago.

Former owner Jesse Baker moved the business into his home, where he's had to change the model from a drop-off site to being a pick-up service when customers want to sell items on eBay that meet certain criteria.

"The biggest change is that I don't have the overhead of the rent anymore," said Baker, whose business comes up rather high in Google search results.

Before the eBay business moved in, the space was originally home to a rock-and-roll bar called Tuey's, which was later subdivided into three stores when it closed.

Since the eBay dropoff location left, the 1,800-square-foot store has sat empty in a busy strip of stores that also includes King Kullen, an Italian restaurant, a bagel store, an ACE Hardware store and more. Calls to the leasing agent for more information were not returned.
