Simons Hedge Fund Not Betting on Google, Apple

East Setauket firm has lowered its investments in these tech giants.

The firm, led my local billionaire Jim Simons, has cut its investments in those two companies, according to a brief posted on Newsday.

Renaissance, which boasts $23.5 billion in holdings, also sold all of its stock in Exxon Mobil, Verizon, General Electric, AT&T, PepsiCo, Amazon.com and Comcast.
