Mick Foley Tackles Comedy, Promotes Kickstarter Campaign
Local celebrity made an appearance at The Brokerage Comedy Club in Bellmore.
Pro wrestling star and East Setauket resident Mick Foley hit the Long Island comedy club scene on Thursday night, delivering a performance fitting of his new WWE Hall of Fame status, according to a feature published Sunday in Newsday.
Foley, 48, also plugged a Kickstarter campaign to fundraise for his latest project, "I Am Santa Claus," a documentary that follows the lives of men who dress up as Santa Claus for the holidays and features Foley planning his own Santa journey. Shooting for the documentary has been completed, and filmmaker Tommy Avallone is trying to crowdsource funds to complete post-production, with a goal of raising $40,000 by July 10.
