"I don't have a preconception about whether were going to do this in the future or not," Fleck said in a YouTube preview of the tour. "I'm satisfied with the fact that we're getting together to do this project and this tour. That after that...this might be the last time, or it might not."

Rocket Science, the original group's first album in nearly two decades, drew praise from Rolling Stone, which said the Grammy-winning group is "still in fine progressive form."

A spokeswoman for the Staller Center described this performance as a special one among an already-stacked lineup of jazz performances this season sponsored by Renaissance Technologies.

"Jazz programming has also continued to be robust because we have an enthusiastic following of jazz lovers in the community and know jazz performances will draw an audience," said Julie Rulon Greene.

Tickets are $42 and are available online at stallercenter.com or by calling (631) 632-ARTS.
