On June 11, at 8:00 p.m., Grounds and Sounds Café, the monthly live music coffee house in East Setauket, will be honored to welcome local singer-songwriter Pat Killian to the stage for a special concert in honor of Pat’s 60th birthday. Killian’s rich, warm baritone, added to moving lyrics about the extraordinary moments in ordinary life, make him an audience favorite. For this once-in-a-lifetime show, he’ll have a full band of strong musicians on stage with him, as he celebrates in song what he has learned and experienced in six decades of life. Tickets are $12.50 and can be purchased online at www.groundsandsounds.org.
Grounds and Sounds Café is sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Stony Brook (www.UUFSB.org), a non-profit religious organization. 631-751-0297
