Le Petit Salon de Musique - Soul's Delight concert

Le Petit Salon de Musique in East Setauket takes a step back in time with a concert by The Soul’s Delight, a period instrument chamber orchestra, performing classical music from the 16th and 17th centuries on Sunday April 15 at 2:00 p.m.  The Soul’s Delight was founded by

harpsichordist Hsuan-Wen Chen and bassoonist Stephanie Corwin.  The chamber ensemble has played throughout the New York and Boston metro areas and its individual members have played with orchestras around the world.  The mission of The Soul’s Delight is to promote historical performance by presenting a fresh yet informed approach to both standard and lesser-known works of early music.  For this unique Le Petit Salon de Musique concert, the group will perform works of Frescobaldi, Froberger, Uccellini, Castello, Gabrielli, Marini, Riccio, and Stradella
