Barnaby Bright at Grounds and Sounds

Indie folk duo Barnaby Bright returns to Grounds and Sounds Café, the monthly live music coffee house in East Setauket, NY, on July 13 at 8 p.m.  Grounds and Sounds regulars still rave about Barnaby Bright's performance last summer.  This husband and wife team (Rebecca and Nathan Bliss) has garnered high accolades for their lyrically captivating and impeccably balanced songwriting and sound. Finalists in the prestigious New York Song Circle Contest for two years in a row, Barnaby Bright was awarded the Grand Prize in November 2010 for their song, “Don’t Look Down.” The catchy, melodic “If I Came Back As a Song” placed third in 2007’s International Song-Writing Competition.  The duo was highlighted as an “Emerging Artist” at the legendary Falcon Ridge Folk Festival in 2010 and their music has been featured on TV shows such as ER, Days of Our Lives, and Roadtrip Nation.
