AGES' Free Health & Wellness Resource Expo for Seniors & Family Caregivers

The Association of Generational Experts for Seniors (AGES) is hosting its premier Health & Wellness Resource Expo for Older Adults and Family Caregivers. The FREE event will provide Long Island seniors and their families with a one-stop-resource for vital information, products and services that are available for supporting senior wellness and quality of life. 

Guests will meet with numerous senior healthcare service and product providers that play an integral role in supporting senior wellnessmanagement.  In addition, there will be a series of free interactive workshops relating to relevant issues and concerns that will be led by top senior care industry professionals from such businesses as Brandywine Senior Living at Huntington Terrace, Law Offices of Ann-MargaretCarrozza, North Shore/LIJ’s Circle of Care, St.Charles Hos pital & Rehabilitation Center, Seniors Real Estate Specialists of Laffey Fine Homes, Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation, and many more. Among the seminars scheduled are: Options for Assistance in Daily Living, Medicaid Planning and Non Profit, Financial and Insurance Planning Options, Rehabilitation and Medical Services, and Home Remodeling and Relocation Services.

Several innovative, live health and fitness demonstrations tailored for seniors will also be made accessible, including the cutting edge MELT® Method, a self-treatment technique for achieving pain reduction/prevention, increasing stability and balance, which will be presented by Goldman, who is a Certified MELT® Instructor. There will also be ongoing yoga demonstrations led by Judi Abrahall, senior fitness account manager of Healthways Silver Sneakers Fitness Program. Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to vie for free raffle prize giveaways throughout the day.
