Twisted Sister, led by frontman and Three Village resident Dee Snider, will headline a relief concert for victims of Hurricane Sandy at The Emporium in Patchogue on Dec. 16.
"Twisted Sister is a world renowned superstar hard rock band who grew up on Long Island and proves time and time again that they have never forgotten their roots," said Tim Lorito, owner of The Emporium. "We are thrilled to be able to partner with them to lend a hand to their fellow Long Islanders in need."
According to a release, The Emporium will donate $10,000 up front to immediately assist people on Long Island hit the hardest. With a goal of raising $100,000, The Emporium will donate all the net proceeds from ticket sales and bar revenue to the following recovery organizations:
- 25 percent to Long Island Cares, Inc. – The Harry Chapin Food Bank;
- 25 percent to the Island Park Music Program, which lost its musical instruments in the flood;
- 50 percent to local families in need.
Tickets are $40 each and can be purchased in advance at the venue or through ticketfly.com. The Emporium, located at 9 Railroad Avenue in Patchogue, opened in 2012.
Additional ticket packages are available with VIP-type features, including:
- $200 Gold Ticket (only 50 available), which will get you a commemorative poster pre-signed by the artists and a VIP Table.
- $500 Platinum Ticket (only 50 available), which will get you a meet-and-greet with the artists performing, commemorative poster signed by all the artists, a Twisted Sister Live in Vegas CD signed by the band, and a VIP Table.
- $900 Diamond Ticket (only 10 available), which will get you all of the above plus a signed guitar, Twisted Sister holiday card, and dinner at The Emporium.
