Shelter Animal of the Week: Bailey the Handsome Tabby Cat

If there's ever a good weekend to adopt a kitty, it's this weekend, and if there's ever a cat that deserves a great home, it's Bailey, a handsome tabby at Save-a-Pet Animal Rescue in Port Jefferson Station.

Though Bailey is an adult and has reached his full size, he is full of energy and loves to play and show his affection for his human friends. Shelter volunteers said that he would make a good watch cat, as he is wary about newcomers and would alert you to strangers in the house. He has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but this can be controlled, and he is expected to live a long life.

Bailey is neutered, house trained, and up-to-date with all of his routine shots.
