Oct. 28: Hispanic Heritage, Asian Culture, and Video Coverage

Here's what's happening in Three Village today.

Three Village is all about culture, math, science, and politics on Thursday. Here is a cross-section of what's happening around town.

1. A monthlong celebration of Hispanic heritage comes to a close at Stony Brook University tonight at 4 p.m., followed by an evening of music, dancing, games and food at the H-Quad Dining Center.

2. Hip hop, comedy and spoken word performances will light up the Wang Center at Stony Brook University at "Home: Word," celebrating Asian American culture, at 7 p.m.

3. The Poquott village board meets tonight at 7 p.m. Recent meetings have included discussions of the village's six-month moratorium on certain solar and wind energy devices at private residences.

4. An action-packed lineup of stories today on Three Village Patch includes coverage of Bill Clinton's rally for Tim Bishop, a video tour of the new Simons Center for Geometry and Physics, and a rundown of upcoming Halloween events in the area. Stay tuned.
