March 29: One More Budget Workshop, and Murphy's School Musical

On top of all the normal things you've probably got lined up today – work, school, sports practice, dinner and homework – there are a few other possibilties you should keep in mind as you carry out your Tuesday.

1. When the Three Village school board began its five-week budget workshop series the first week of March, it was with the hope that the district would have a draft budget near completion by the end of the series. Will that happen tonight? Find out at the fifth session at 8 p.m. at the North Country Administration Center.

2. Last week, Gelinas Junior High presented the musical Oliver. This week, takes a turn, putting on Footloose for a five-show run between today and April 2. Stay tuned to Three Village Patch as we take a closer look at the production.

3. The Seattle-based group Reteaching Gender & Sexuality will deliver a presentation aimed at adapting the policies and institutions of society to be more inclusive of the queer youth community. A film presentation and discussion is set for 3:30 p.m. at Stony Brook University's Wang Center.

4. Does physical pain restrict your ability to move as much as you'd like to? Check out a free workshop at 7:30 p.m. called , and perhaps learn a few ways to control the pain you feel.
