March 17: Tax Help and a St. Paddy’s Day Feast

Here's what's happening Thursday in Three Village.

Get in touch with your "inner self," get help with your taxes and enjoy the holiday with traditional Irish food today in Three Village.

1. Bring a mat, pillow or chair to Frank Melville Memorial Park and enjoy a free meditation session with instructor Joe Edley. Class begins at 10:00 a.m.

2. Need some help with your taxes? Tax-aid volunteers with AARP will be available at Emma S. Clark Memorial Library from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for questions and help with basic forms for taxpayers aged 60 and over. Call or go to the Adult Reference Desk to make an appointment.

3. For some classic Irish eats, go to Mirabelle Restaurant & Tavern in Stony Brook, where you can have a three-course meal and taste a selection of beers for under $50. Begins at noon; $26 per person with an additional $15 for beer pairing with each course. For other St. Patrick's Day options, .
