Jan. 27: The Snow Must Go On

Here's what's happening Thursday in Three Village.

All of Thursday's events should probably come with a big imaginary asterisk next to each of them: *weather permitting. Here are some things you could potentially do – if Mother Nature hadn't just express-delivered a boatload of snow to our area.

1. Ward Melville seniors will model the latest prom styles at a 7 p.m. at the Water Mill in Smithtown. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit the senior scholarship fund.

2. At 1 p.m. at Stony Brook University's Student Center Cafe, the various student clubs and organizations will convene for a to meet potential new members.

3. How cool does this sound? For a mere $12 materials fee, you can learn to make a at the library at 7 p.m. You'll even learn how to recycle and reclaim broken jewelry to make something fresh and new. Call the library at 631-941-4080 for program availability.
